2.4 GHz wireless technology and Bluetooth technology

We have all used wireless keyboard and mouse, wireless headset. Some of these devices use Bluetooth technology, and some use 2.4 GHZ wireless technology. So what are the similarities and differences between the two?

Advantages of Bluetooth technology:

• Occupies less bandwidth.

Advantages of 2.4 GHz wireless technology:

• Less power consumption, longer standby time;
• Occupies larger bandwidth, faster and more stable transmission speed.

We can conclude that Bluetooth devices are more convenient and flexible. In daily and work, the delay of Bluetooth will not affect the use. The 2.4GHz wireless technology is more stable and faster on single-point connections, so some gaming mice and gaming headsets use 2.4GHz technology.

Of course, some products now support dual wireless connections: both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth are supported.
